I’ve got a weird issue these days. My Xiaomi Mibox (Android TV) client is transcoding whatever streaming quality i’m setting. On local network.
It worked OK for several months and it happened a few days/weeks.
Anyone noticed this? Could it be a recent PMS or client update?
Server Version#: 1.21.4.4054
Player Version#: Latest Beta Android TV
Changing the quality to anything lower than the source will definitely cause it to transcode.
If it’s not direct playing while using the original quality setting, then it may be something with the file or your server.
Please provide logs from both the Android app Android, Android TV, Fire TV Logs | Plex Support and your server Plex Media Server Logs | Plex Support.
