I’m having an issue where Plex Home Theatre doesn’t display .ass format subtitles embedded into .mkv (but shows that subtitles are there). The same videos streamed via web browser or iPad app display subtitles just fine. I also found a bizarre workaround that temporary fixes the issue - if I connect to the HTPC via TeamViewer and start PHT while connected remotely, then subtitles work fine even if I close the TeamViewer session. Tried re-installing PHT, also video drivers (Intel Core i3 540 HD Graphics). No difference.
.rst subtitles work fine.
Any ideas?
