Hi,
I’m facing issue to update my library after deleting files from the server
for examples after deleting my movies and TV shows from my NAS I click scan so plex media can detect
the changes and start removing the posters but that doesn’t happen now
I’m not sure if this issue after I updated the server to Version 1.7.6.4058
any clue ?

All what you just mentioned I tried them all and no luck.
now I checked the plex media the deleted movie posters are gone. which is good but
it tool hours to happen … before once i click scan or update it deletes all the posters on spot …
now I have to do multiple scans to detect the deleted folders/files to removes the posters.
issue now still same
i just deleted two of my shows and scanned the TV Show category in plex media and it didn’t delete the posters and metadata
Usually I delete the folders from NAS HDD
Manually and not from the plex CP
So after deleting the folders and everything
I scan the plex but it doesn’t go now
My previous was working fine
Here you can see the plex app stating the file is not available (red) as I deleted the show
have you checked to see what path and file name Plex is using for the file?
yes, its been on all the time..
Have you enabled Empty trash automatically after every scan and then clicked on ‘Save Changes’?
Again yes..
i’m telling you this was working perfect before and i’m doing scan multiple time and not removing the posters.

whats this backup database for ? why do I need do this ?
I just had to format my NAS and install my plex all over again
and things working fine now
i have the same problem with flex cloud. i can not set the options to empty the trash. please help me
