Issue with dual audio files: Plex ignoring the default audio and the Plex Client language

I’m running PMS with the latest docker image with libraries in english and spanish

Since few days ago some of my friends (whos plex settings are set in Spanish) told me that when they try to watch something from the Spanish movie the default audio is English despite the library is in Spanish, their Plex settings are in Spanish and the main audio of the file is Spanish as well…

I’m part of a Telegram plex group and other Spanish users faced the same issue. It started around 1 week ago, before nobody had any issues.

I’m still facing the same issue and I’m aware that other people too… is this something Plex team is aware of?

The fix is to go back to an older Plex media server version (like v1.16.xx), login with plex web to the user concerned then updating to the latest Plex media server version

Thanks for the tip.

But more than a fix that sounds like a workaround which involves too much hassle to be honest as under one plex server I have at least 4 friends facing the issue.
It would be quite a pain having to downgrade PMS, then ask them to login the web client change settings, wait till they do it then upgrade again…

Shouldn’t this be fixed with a new update instead?
Is anyone from Plex team reading this?
