Issue with external SRT files and transcoder

Hi all,
following the reset password, I had to reinstall the plex app on my server (Nvidia Shield). Had a lot of issues, and finally it seems to be working alright, except when I’m playing a 4K video with external SRT file. Indeed, in the PLEX app on my LG TV, I have a transcoding error. When launching with XPlay, it works perfectly (no transcoding). I do not understand why.

Could you kindly help?

Server Version#: 5.6.1.505 (that’s what I see in the plex app on my Shield - can’t get a version when looking at the Plex Media Server icon)
Player Version#: 5.44.6 (LG TV WebOS)
