Transcoder error: could not start (external SRTs)

Hi all,
It’s been 3 months now that I have this issue…
I run my server on an Nvidia Shield for several years now, and since August it can’t work properly. I think I’m having 2 issues:

  1. When I try to launch a file to be transcoded (for instance a 4K video on an old Apple TV that is not 4K compatible), I get this message: (originally in french, sorry if the translation is not perfect): « conversion failed. Transcoder could not start ».

  2. I’m using the Plex app on my LG TV (webOS, C7V model). If i’m adding SRT file to any of my library, and ask to read the media with the external SRT, I get the same error as in the item 1 above. This does not make sense, as without the SRT file it works (and with included srt sub it works as well). No matter the format (4K HDR or 1080p). This used to work quite well in the past, and somehow from one day to the next, stopped working.

Seems to me item 1. Is Server related, and 2. Is client related (as I’m using XPlay, that is working perfectly fine with external SRTs)
