Issue with FLAC Playback in Web Client

Server Version#: 1.16.4.1469-6d5612c2f (ubuntu 18.04.2)
Player Version#: 3.104.2 (local) & 4.2.1 (plex.tv hosted)
Browsers: Firefox 68.0.1, Chrome 76.0.3809.100
OS: Win10 LTSC

I’ve had an issue for a while where when playing music, some tracks would start buffering (see console output below), hang for several minutes, and resume playing again. Recently I had to install Chrome to use a site that no longer supported Firefox, so I decided to give streaming music via plex on there a shot and it worked perfectly, without buffering. Seeing that my local plex web client (via PMS) was pretty old, I tried the plex.tv version, but had the same issues in Firefox. I wasn’t able to see any errors or indications of a problem in the PMS logs, but I may not know precisely what to look for.

After trying to narrow down the problem files, I came across one 24bit/48khz, and one 24/192 flac that always had buffering issues in Firefox, and worked flawlessly in Chrome. I tried some other 24bit/48khz flacs and they played just fine, as did some 24/96 flacs. I’m not quite sure what the issue is with this file, since it plays flawlessly on Chrome via Plex, and locally via Winamp. The file checks out as OK with flac, but I know that isn’t a very thorough verification process.

I’d like to figure out what’s going on with music streaming for this file on Firefox, because it affects seemingly random tracks in my library.

Firefox console output when it buffers:
