I recently went from an installed server to a container (whatever def proper term for 'installed server’s is). Before the MP3s worked fine and I had them named correctly, and they still are. Now Plex scans the library (and takes it’s sweet ole time doing so if I might add), I can see it scanning the files, and when I add the folder it sees the MP3s but once it’s done the library is still empty. My movies, TV shows, and pictures are there and viewable. It is on a samba share.
Yes the files are named exactly like the docs say and yes the permissions are set to plex:plex, and the account has permissions on the Windows side. None of my audio libraries work, I even created a library with one album in it that is named properly and it doesn’t add it to the library, I even tried adding it to the same folder movies and TV Shows are in in case of permissions.
