Ever since installing Google wifi, I am unable to cast from my android phone to my Chromecast. This is only on the local network.
It appears this is related to google wifi will not resolve local IP addresses to prevent DNS rebinding attacks. This is confirmed by google, though their explanation as to why this is the case didn’t seem to fit, but the fact remains…
Apparently this has been the case since the on hub router.
I was wondering if anyone had found a workaround for this issue? If not, I may be able to resolve it myself by setting up a DNS server with this lookup hard coded, but what URL do I need to point to my PMS? Is it Plex.direct?
