Confirm for me that everything (Plex Media Server) folder still exists in the “Plex” shared folder .
If it does.

Uninstall + ERASE option

Now install the package

If, after passing all the permission change requirements (it will tell you what to do), it sits there at “Installing”, then let it go. Ignore what DSM might say after that (e.g. need to log out , etc etc.) The only thing you’re interested in is:
- Installation Successful popup (you got it right),
–OR– - the error (e.g. system error 0 because you forgot some permissions settings)
