Now it’s my turn to share issues I can’t find solutions…
It’s very weird…
My library is on a Synology 918+ nas.
At home, I have a nvidia shield, everything works wonderfully.
I’m sharing my movies with my father… He can access to everything from everywhere online (plex.tv and my domain name) from any computer or/and phone BUT he can’t watch movies with his Nvidia Shield… He sees the library, can launch any movie but a few seconds after searching, it stops, with a problem evocating network issue.
I thought Premium pass using hadware compression would help but it didn’t. Sometimes (rarely and without identifiable reason) it works very well, and our internet connections (fiber) allows easily viewing without any compression.
I tried many many different configurations on the app, on android config without finding any solution. Finally it’s without any compression that I have better results.
IF I read any movie on his computer on chrome and try to send it to chromecast, it doesn’t work neither.
I went there with my Shield (which work great at home), same issue… I tried with is account and mine… same issue.
Maybe the android app has issues, I’m lost…
Pleaaaaase help !..
