An error occured while attempting to play this video, Nvidia Shield

Okay this is becoming quite annoying, i am getting the above message only on the Nvidia Shield (latest shield experience firmware). It happens on any film or tv episode after a while. Does not occur on Fire TV. Cube, Android or Mac.

The items themselves are fine because i immediately test the same file and version on my Mac and Note 10 and they play fine.

Now to solve this i have to exit the app, goto settings - apps - plex and force stop then clear cache, this last step is what cures the issue temporarily

When i go back into Plex and back to that item it immediately plays fine, give it a day or so and the error comes back and i have to rinse and repeat.

As stated only happens on the Shield TV (2019 Pro), all items are direct play with passthrough, nothing obvious at all in the logs server side.

Same problem with my NVIDIA Shield 2017. Also, It was working fine with the old player but with the last update we can’t enable it.
