Issues with accessing my media libraries

I am having issues where I can access my library once on my home network which my server is connected to. But as soon as I try connecting to my library when I’m out of the house I’m unable to connect to my library ?
Does anyone have any ideas? any help will be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you’ll have to check out your Remote Access setup.
Have you ever had this working before?

Start with checking if Settings > Server > Remote Access is enabled… we can then pick things up from there :wink:

thanks tom, yeah I think it may of been working but now not for some reason?
Ill have a look through the trouble shooting andlet you know how I go.

actually looking at now, I run google wifi and that may be an issue ?

depends…

  1. do you mean a Google Nest WIFI router / access point or some other/older equipment?
  2. is the router setup in “Bridge” mode (=extending the home network established by your modem / gateway) or does it establish its own home network (inside your home network)?
