Plex no longer available outside of network

I can play media from my server within my home network. Ie on the tv, computer, Android phones and Kindle tablets. However, if I turn off the phone’s Wi-Fi and try over data I can’t access my server. The same thing happens when I’m away from home.

I try to Enable Remote Access but it comes back with “Not available outside your network”.

How can this be fixed?

Have you checked your router settings? You may need to forward the plex port to your internal server IP address.

First check if UPNP is still enabled in your router. If not, enable it, disable/enable remote access and it should work.

Also go to your router status page and check it your wan ip doesn’t start with 100.

Based on what you said, I still think it is your router because you CAN’T access it from OUTSIDE your home network.
