Issues with danish letters when scanning for media

Could anyone please help here?

 

Everytime I scan for new media, Plex have problems processing media with danish letters (ie æ,ø,å). I can normally workarround this by forcing Plex to search for the English title, but when it comes to music I have a problem.

 

At the moment specific the artist MØ. Plex keeps indentifying it to Moby. The albums does not get identifyed correctly because of this.

 

When I look up MØ at last.fm, I get following URL

http://www.last.fm/music/M%C3%98

 

How can I force Plex to identify MØ?

I too has been struggling with the danish charset, not for music, but for movies.....

So far I simply gave up, and did it with ae for æ, oe for ø etc...

If that works for your agent, I simply don't know, since I'm not into musik :-(

But personally, I would try with MO instead

I have tried with with both Mo and Moe, but no dice so far…


Guess I’ll live with it
