The only way to do this right now is to configure the entire library to use a legacy agent (though those are supposed to go away at some point in time).
There’s already an existing suggestion discussing an option to specify the source of a show’s metadata. Personally I think it’s going to be a bit more tricky as this isn’t only about the episode (season/show) titles and descriptions and even those aren’t available from all sources.
