I just got the new Plex app on my Samsung S22 Ultra (Android 14) and I have a few comments.
- I had to remove and restore all my favorite channels from my HDHomeRun on the phone. It also made me do that to a Windows Plex client, but not all of them.
- How can I turn off the stupid preview?
- The preview does not respect the mute button. If you select another channel in the guide, it plays even though the speaker shows the x. You have to unmute and remute.
- I want to be able to turn my phone and see more of the guide like I used to. The preview is worthless to me and I wish it would go away.
- It only shows the current time slot in the guide. No look ahead.
- I used to be able to set up recording on my phone, that doesn’t seem possible anymore.
Those are just a few of the things I’ve noticed in the 30 minutes I’ve been using it.
