I appear to have a strange issue with TV and Movies on my Plex server running on a Synology NAS.
I have 4 local home accounts for each person living in my house. We all watch different content, as expected.
What I have noticed recently is a problem when watching TV or Films. I will try to explain.
For example:
My son and I are watching the latest Star Trek Discovery. However, my son is more advanced than me and has watched more episodes. When he watches those episodes under his own account, the TV episodes are marked as watched under my account??
The same happens when I watch a show or film. They show up on his account as part watched or show on ‘Up Next’ for TV??
Any ideas why this is happening.
I always believed unique accounts are are exactly that… Unique? What I watch will not show up on my wife’s or daughters players, but that does not appear to be the case!!
Any help or advice greatly appreciated!
