Issues with new Live TV Setup - Not ready for prime time?

Server Version#: 1.19.1.2645
Player Version#:
Tuner Make/Model: HDHomeRun CONNECT DUO
Guide/Lineup name: Not sure where to find this
Using XMLTV?: I don’t think so
Channel number/Name:

So, given that I am now working from home every day, I decided to buy a HDHomerun and give the Live TV & DVR feature another shot. Setup was simple enough, but it seems that the only player that I am able to tune live TV on is Win 10 Plex app and even this is slightly choppy (I have another post out for this that is not getting looked at).

Win 10 Plex App -
This plays OK, but the video is slightly choppy. If I don’t close (“x”) out of the video in the player, it will tie up a streaming process (see below).

Plex Web/Roku -
These players can see the guide, but when I go to play something it just spins and never loads any video. When this happens, it basically ties up a plex service and nothing on the server is functional until I log into it, kill the transcoder process and restart the server. I can’t kill the stream process in the server dashboard.

Plex iOS (ipad and iphone) -
These seem to play live TV fine, but if I close out the app without closing the stream, the server still sees a streaming process as the activity indicator on the server dashboard spins, however there is no stream listed in the “Now Playing” section of the Dashboard. When I just tested this, the activity eventually stopped on its own.

Is there a list of supported players for the Live TV & DVR function? For usability sake, if a certain player is not capable of utilizing the feature, I would think that player should not be able to utilize it from the menus so you don’t end up locking up your server and making it unusable. I would also suggest that if an application closes, that it kill the stream process that it was using and not have the server hang on to it.
