Live TV will not play on android if I select the Android Player. But the CBC Add On will not play if I use the player packaged with the client but does with the android player.
Also there is no option for Android TV to choose a player. And the packaged player forces transcoding, maybe I am alone, but I have more network bandwidth on my LAN than processor to do transcoding. On my i5-3470 transcoding is taking about 25% processor per stream.
And on Android TV ( I have 2 MI Boxes) the playback has started to ‘chop’ in about 5-20 second increments. The error weak signal pops up, but I can record and play on other android devices no issue. This worked properly with an older release of the client.
I am going to cancel my subscription till a time when this product is more stable. IMO it is still Beta at best.
