Issues with Plex on Sony Bravia

Hi,

I’ve got a few issues with Plex playing on my 2015 Sony Bravia.

  1. All the content is accessible and playable, however, if you click on the “Home” pin, it just spins and spins ad infinitum. There’s obviously no way of unpinning the “Home” pin, so effectively the first item on the Plex menu on the left is completely redundant & causes most people who try to use it to think that Plex isn’t working; and

  2. On “Recommended” content, etc, thumbnails appear for TV shows, films, etc as normal. However, if I click on the “Library” button at the top to browse all the content (e.g. all Movies) then it appears as just a grey and black icon with the Plex Logo and title under (i.e. no thumbnail for the film or show). It is obviously far less immediate to find things and it’s pretty pointless to have loads of fairly large icons all showing the same grey and black Plex icon - it might as well just be a text list.

I assume that there probably won’t be a fix to this and it’s something to add to the file of “General Plex Flakiness” but I thought it would be worth asking, just in case there’s a fix.

I have Windows server 2016, running Plex server 1.18.2.2058 and i have the same issues om my android phones, iPhones, smart tvs.

Same on every device.

I think there is some issues with this version.
