Issues with remote access on local network

Server Version#:1.43.1.10611.720010611
Player Version#: 1.112.0.359-0d79a49f (MacOS)

I’m having issues connecting to my local plex server and seeing the errors below in the server logs:

May 15, 2026 22:58:18.169 [140710782790456] ERROR - CERT: Error acquiring new certificate: Failed to upload CSR: 429,

Seeing error code 1003 API rate limit exceeded also

Do the following:

1 Reboot your modem/router and everything connected to it, including any wireless devices.
2 Stop Plex from running on the NAS.
3 Open File Station and navigate to “/PlexMediaServer/AppData/Plex Media Server/Cache” and delete the cert-v2.p12 file.
4 Restart Plex and wait for 2-3 minutes before trying to access the Plex server.

If your issues continue, grab a fresh set of server logs and add them to your next post, thanks.

Hi, unfortunately following these steps didn’t resolve the issue and I’m continuing to see the same errors code and message regarding the rate limit.

Please find attached the logs as requested.

Just to note, my iOS players are connecting fine still, this is affecting my Android, MacOS and Web players on the same LAN.

Post here and ask for your certificate to be renewed:

Done.
@paulo3981 Please stop and restart your server now.

Can you check my certificate?

[mod edit: your server’s certificate is valid and well.]

Working now, thank you!
