I think this is a bit of bad UX, and also a semi related bug. I was house sitting and logged into my Plex account on the other person’s Roku player (I don’t know their player version, but I was able to repro the UX issues on my home TV). I forgot to log out while there and they ended up running into issues logging out.
First of all, remote log out does not work. I removed their TV from my account’s authorized device list and it did not sign them out.
Secondly, my primary user is set up with a passcode. There is no way to sign out from the user selection screen, and managed accounts cannot sign out as well. Without my passcode, they were left in a loop where they couldn’t log out of the app. Apparently even uninstalling and reinstalling autologged back into my account!
Ultimately I just gave them the passcode and they were able to sign out, but felt worth posting this cause it seems like a pretty bad user flow
