I’m in the UK and I’ve been using plex to record the grand prix and I’ve noticed this a few times so here I am reporting it.
Last weekend the mexican grand prix was on and plex recorded the highlights for me. it recorded the qualifying highlights on saturday and the race highlights on the sunday however when I go to watch it, if I click on the qualifying highlights, I get the race, and if I click on the race, I get the highlights…
if I “get info” on the files then the filename matches the name in plex, however if I go to the nas and play the base files then they’re correct, i.e. the qualifying filename does indeed have the qualifying in it and same with the race. So somewhere, plex is getting confused and is playing the wrong file…
I had a similar thing when I was recording the 100 cricket and I was getting the wrong file playing.
It’s not the end of the world but it would be nice to fix this… can I supply any more info?
