How can I revert to the previous version on FireTV and block the update?
To explain: The current version’s interface might be fine for smartphones, but in my opinion, it’s a disaster on the big screen. I actually used to own a Roku but threw it away and switched to FireTV specifically because of the interface that had originally been implemented on Roku. To my surprise, that same interface has now appeared on FireTV. Most of my devices updated automatically, though I managed to block app updates on two of them. In my view, Plex used to have the best interface by far, but now it is undoubtedly the worst. Furthermore, this new version uses the same profile across all TVs. This is also a major issue for me, as I use different folders on each TV. For instance, on my home theater TV, the main folders are Movies and TV Series, whereas on the living room TV, I use folders for music and music videos. With this new version, changing the folders on one TV changes them on all of them. Does anyone know how to revert to the previous version or suggest an alternative player to replace the official one?
