Plex is NOT this difficult to use.
The only thing it might be is the OS itself. I don’t know of anyone using Gentoo

Now I would like you do a simple controlled test case.
Download this file and place in a directory by itself.
Create a library section of type “Other Videos/Home Videos” and include this directory.
Playback the file on your Web Browser (something I can replicate and am familiar with)

Just wanted to mention i tried this GPU in a Windows machine with transcoding and 0 errors Just for the heck of it lol using same movie file as most my tests (plex server) on windows
It looks like the file played but your logs are extremely busy with Intro detection and all the other activities.
Here’s another playback in progress for a movie which is interlaced with what I’m trying to debug.
Put that all together and it’s just too busy right now to follow (sorry)

Did the video play in Plex/web ? I can’t definitively tell here but it looks like it did.
Yes it did play no error on Chrome browser i didn’t get a chance to test on my friend’s tv yet

Can’t speak to the Plex Windows client at all. I don’t have any Windows machines here at all.
If it plays on a Windows machine, in that brower, that’s further confirmation the server is ok and must be a player setting (?)… They’re not forcing DirectPlay, are they?

My lg doesn’t have the issue, it seems to be Samsung related
Samsung TV’s (a lot of them) lost their certificates as of Sept 30 (when the R3 expired).
Since those sets are EOL (no updates from Samsung) - they either get:
a. Set top boxes / HDMI devices which are current
b. Special accommodation to allow that IP to stream without auth
Still get those vaapi errors, but I guess ill ignore, maybe gone in future pms update.
