Building a new home with lots of smart tech and for the first time will be setting up an NAS so that I can stream to all the new TVs I’ll soon be buying. I already purchased a Synology 420+ and I’m trying to get prepare my media ahead of time so I can get up and running faster once we move in.
I have ripped my DVD library to MKV. I also have about 50 movies and a few TV series’ on iTunes that I have downloaded to my PC. I installed Plex on that PC (Win10 x64). As a test, I created a movie library and imported both the DVD rips and the iTunes downloads.
