First let me apologize for posting this here as I do not know where or how to submit a problem to PLEX.
However, within the last week I upgraded to server release 9.9 and after that whenever I played an itunes song using the itunes music channel, the song would play for a short while (10- 15 seconds) and then stop. If the song was part of a playlist then it would simply repeat this for each song in the list. If it was a single song it would just stop.
I downloaded and installed release a previous release 9.8.18.290-11b7fdd and the problem went away.
If there is forum or email address to report these issues could someone please forward this.
I seem to be having the same issue using the iTunes channel on the roku. I'm using an iTunes playlist and some of the music files play fine, but then others will only play about 10 to 15 seconds of the next file.
If I use my android tablet, I can play the iTunes channel without issue, so I'm guessing it is a Roku issue.
I also use Chromecast, but nothing will play at all on that device.
I'm using Plex Media Server 0.9.9.7.429-f80a8d6 on a Windows 7 computer.
The other day I accidently upgraded to plex server 9.9. I have been trying to stay at 9.8 to prevent this skipping problem. My Roku Itunes player immediately started skipping again. I backed off to 9.8 and everything was then OK. I cant say whether this is a Roku issue or a plex server issue. All I can say is that if you have this problem sticking to 9.8 seems to make the problem go away.
