I have a couple thousand .mp3’s and .flac files. All of the files’s naming convention are Artist - Track name.ext. Most of my files are ripped from my CD’s using EAC to .flac, and or most of my collections were bought straight from Beatport. ID3 tags shouldn’t be an issue. I thought maybe Plex was having a hard time adding all the files in one folder so I created multiple folders and moved the music files into those folders. Each folder contains roughly 100 songs, Plex still doesn’t detect all of the songs. What could be wrong? I have no problems with movies, but trying to add music has been very frustrating.
Anyone have a clue?
