Just like the title says. It seems that someone is sharing a server with me and I don’t know who it is.
That user is not on my Users&Sharing list. I have no idea how to get rid of it. The only thing I can click on is Retry Connection when I click on his server. How can I remove this server from my list?
Login using Plex Web. Select “MORE >” at the bottom of the left column. You should see the person’s username & server name listed, along with the libraries they share with you.
Does it show up in your list of authorized devices? If so, delete it from the list.
It appears that you have 2 servers shared with you. If you send me the name of the server per PM, I can remove it from your account.
But normally, you should see the user name of the server owner in your Users&Sharing list.
I removed this old server for you.
If you pinned some libraries of this server to the side bar in your plex client(s), you may have to manually remove them from there.
Same applies if you added a media “hub” (the horizontal strips of media items) from this server to the home page of your client(s).
If you have a Plex client which used this shared server as its default/main server, it is faster to simply reset the whole client and pick a new default server:
