hw specifications:

The file is an hvec10 mkv.

It does not use hardware acceleration while streaming.

Need DEBUG logs please which capture the start of the transcoding session.

Also please confirm the presence of /dev/dri/renderD128

Is there anything I need to do on a Linux server prior to running Plex to allow for hardware transcoding?

PMS is seeing the QSV and engaging it here.

What indications do you have it’s not engaging QSV ?

What I see in the logs is PMS starting the transcode but it’s being commanded to stop playback

To be clear “hwaccel:0” is the name of the parameter, it is not an indication of it being enabled. There isn’t a “hwaccel:1” if that is what you were expecting.
