Jerky playback through Plex, but fine when file is played directly via network

I’m using the latest Plex Windows 10 client, and Plex server on a media mini mac in the other room.

If I just open a network folder and play the file on my PC directly from the Mac, all is fine, but if I play it through the Plex app it’s stutters and lags sometimes. Any ideas? Thanks!
