Hi, I’m using a mac, and I downloaded the Plex Media Server app. When I click on the app it brings me to that page (screenshot I attached).
May I also add that I’m new to Plex and not sure what people mean by ‘servers’. My homepage is still ‘looking for servers’

That’s not a media server screenshot - make sure you have downloaded and installed the right thing.

What do I need to download? As previously stated when I click on the media ‘Plex Media Sever’ it brings me to the plex webpage on Safari
Can anybody help?
To make sure you have the right thing:
You need to go here:
https://www.plex.tv/downloads/
Then in this section, Click “download”
And that should take you to here, where you can download the server software.
I downloaded that, and when I click on it in the Applications folder it brings me to a web page
What else can I do?
And what’s on that web page, can you post a screenshot.
What is the URL in your browser from the screenshot?

Click on settings upper right hand corner. Go to Server tab and make sure you have claimed your server.

There is no ‘server tab’ after I go to the settings

The top of your settings page should look something like this:
Nope, doesn’t look like that
Ok, what happens if you click the arrow next to the J in the blue circle. Can you logout and try signing in again and try accessing
http://127.0.0.1:32400/web/index.html
again
You could also try accessing
http://127.0.0.1:32400/web/index.html
using Firefox or Chrome instead of Safari and see if that makes a difference.
Some people seem to be having problems with the latest versions of Safari.
His problem is due to his server still being claimed by his other username. He needs to remove the server from that account first.
