I have a very large collection of Karaoke files that were ripped from CD+G discs. The files are ripped and converted to MP3+G files which are zipped. I currently use a program called Sax and Dotty’s show hoster to search for and play the karaoke files from my computer using WINAMP with a CD+G plugin. The program reads the MP3 and the Graphics file from it’s directory without having to extract the files from the zipped file. The karaoke graphics screen is displayed on a television via the HDMI port on the Video Card, configured by windows as a secondary monitor.
Any chance this technology could be added to PLEX? Been working hard to get all of my media into one place, and this is the final step.
