Digital karaoke files are paired files, the music on a .MP3 file with an equally named .CDG file (in the same directory) that includes the timing and graphics to display when to sing the words.
I know that some lyrics are available Plex for music, but that’s for regular music albums, and those lyrics don’t show you the speed in which you need to sing it. And karaoke albums are usually unique from the original music artists.
It would be pretty awesome if Plex expanded support to play karaoke files.
The trick here may be finding a CDG album metadata aggregator, I’m really not sure if there is one.
Search first if the request has already been posted before. The goal is to collect the votes for a particular feature in one thread - not to scatter them around.
