Keep metadata in transcoded synced FLAC files

Continuing the discussion from Synced flac audio files are loosing metadata when transcoded?:

I have the same issue as typhoe, where I prefer using another music player in Android, but when I sync FLAC files as MP3’s - they lose all metadata and turn into “key.mp3” files. When I sync FLAC files in full quality this is not an issue (music player reads the FLAC metadata) - but it takes up a lot of space. It would be nice if transcoded MP3’s would keep the metadata.
