Synced flac audio files are loosing metadata when transcoded?

Hi,

I use to Plex to sync my video/audio libraries to my android phone to put on it things I want available even without network connection.

I don’t use the player to play audio files, I prefer PowerAMP.

When syncing Flac files to my Android phone using Plex Sync, files are transcoded to 320k mp3 but metadatas are not preserved, preventing PowerAmp to detect them correctly…

It’s not clear if Plex Universal Transcoder is still based on FFMPEG and so if it should keep metadatas by default…

IS it possible to keep these infos when transcoding is done? Otherwise, is it possible to not transcode and simply sync the original files (so FLAC, WITH the metadatas)?
