I have a Japanese Live Action show I like to watch, and am going through it with Japanese subtitles in my attempt to learn Japanese. Thanks to Plex’s great subtitle search feature, I am able to find the singular Japanese subtitles for the show.
However, I run into an issue where my copy of the show does not quite match up the timing, the parts where a commercial would be causes a 5+ second delay. I am able to manually offset the subtitles to match back up, but with the offset only doing 50ms increments, I have to press A LOT. The buttons are also small, and it is frustrating to say the least.
This would very easily be alleviated by adding keyboard shortcuts for offset of subtitles.
In my search for this I found that the previous app (or maybe the HTCP app) had this feature.
It was done with ALT + S and ALT + SHIFT + S for increase and decrease respectively. I am sure this would be an uncommon case, but it would definitely make things a lot easier for me.
