Kodi Plex on RPi ignores Quality Settings

Same problem as Raspberry pi 3b+ / transcode settings get ignored & annoying buffering issues which is locked now

On my RPi 3B+ Plex for Kodi, no matter what I set the Remote/Local/Online Quality default setting to, files play at Original quality. This is rather frustrating because I have a lot of 25+mbps files. My only workaround is to change the quality preference on the movie/episode (next to subtitle settings) before hitting Play. And even this setting gets reset each time.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

I’ve noticed the same on my Odroid N2 running CoreELEC. No matter what quality setting you use it will default to Original Quality unless you change the quality preference for each item. Even then it does not remember that setting.

I have also disabled “Allow Direct Play” in Settings and these still gives the same results.

The problem is also mention here.

Plex is version 0.2.1.

Please fix this issue.
