Howdy folk… Could really find a spot for this bad boy so thought I’d start up a new post… I have a branded Android Media center… There are a few floating around that are generic as well… Everythign is working awesome, but for some reason PLEX will not connect…
I have followed the wiki…
I don’t seem to be having any issues on the server (WIN 7 x64) I can access the PMS from 127.0.0.1, localhost and IP.
On the android device I can browse the IP:port and get the blank page with Fave icon. However when ever I try to open plex on the client. I get a pop up , “No local network”
The device is connected via LAN cable and not wireless / 3G etc etc… Network connectivity is working fine for everything else.
When I turn off all the “Find Server” features / clear the cache, and manually enter in IP and port (and without post as it is default) the client works away at “Validating Connection” . Longest I have left it is 45mins.
So any ideas ? I’m not much of an android person, but I know my way around windows not so bad…

I can’t really say, but I keep reading the company name as Krogan. I doubt that has anything to do with it though!

Hey mate - did you find a resolution to this problem?? I'm having a similar issue with my Astone Android Media player that i bought from Kogan....perhaps it's an issue with the version of Android on there?? Perhaps it's Kogan :P.
Cheers.
Plex does not work with ethernet link under Android you must use wireless.
