Lag / stuttering on TV playback

Hey guys! So I was wondering if someone could help me out real quick.

Whenever I stream local content to my Sony XG85 TV over my wifi from my PC running my Plex server the stream will sorta lag behind (sound keeps running fine throughout the whole thing) and when it stops lagging the video stream sorta speeds up until it is synced with the sound again. (The video stream comes to a complete halt when it happens)

The thing is this only happens when I’m using the Plex app on the TV. If I stream to my phone this does not happen, or if I stream it straight on my computer in a browser.

It happens to all my content, SD to 4K, it’s all the same.

My Plex server runs on a i7-7700k with no issues to be seen.

Is there anything I could try out to fix this?

Both server and TV app is running latest update available

I am having the exact same problem with a Sony Bravia XG95 I got just under a week ago, the previous LG TV didn’t have this issue.

Home connection is virgin media 350 down/35up - pfsense I have tried the TV with both with ethernet cable and WiFi.

Plex server is in a DC with 1GB up/down.
Server is a Dell R720XD with 12 X 4TB WD Black disks, P2000 GPU and 128GB RAM, both of the devices are up to date.

This is only present on the Sony Bravia Plex app.

Also have tried content from 720-4k and is present with all.

I am out of ideas.
