I am exploring RasPlex for the last 24 hours. One of the things that struck me is the (false) link between interface language and location. I live in France and I want my interface to be in English.
However, if I choose English as a language all localization choices are limited to English-speaking countries (and strangely enough Central Europe). Is there no way to separate these concepts ?
I also have no choice as to keyboard. The pop-in of keyboard layouts is sadly empty.
I’ve already noticed this problem too… This is a limitation of the current OpenELEC install wizard.
Try the following:
Use the initial wizard to choose you keyboard layout and change the interface language afterwards via the preferences. (Keyboard-layout can’t be changed currently)
Once I change the Interface language all other regional values are reset (and restricted). For example, if I want to see the region to France (to get correct time), I must put the interface language in French.
I understand that this is an OpenELEC issue. Should I post this elsewhere ? Thanks again,
i have been attempting this via appearance menu. when language is english only english-speaking countries (and central europe) are proposed in other regional parameters. to set these parameters to france, language must be french.
