Does anyone load a 40k+ movie library on their Plex app for AppleTV 4K?
I have a massive library that my friend shares and AppleTV takes 5 minutes+ to load the library, and after it loads it, the entire UI lags, can’t move the menus or selections, like it’s out of memory. I sense AppleTV doesn’t have enough memory to allow the cache file size to load, along with imagines and content for the library menu.
Does anyone else see this? I have 3 homes and 6 appleTV setups with various TVs and its the same all around. Can’t do anything (UI becomes super laggy and impossible to use). I wonder if it’s a hardware-related issue since Apple does not offer bigger memory upgrades for AppleTV units, only SSD sizing…
