It would be great for people with visual difficulties to be able to change the size of the subtitles
What client are you using?
I’ve just double-checked some… you should already be able to do this for most of them.
- Verified for Apple TV, Android TV, Plex Web and Plex Media Player which each have a setting
Subtitle Size - on iOS I could indeed not find any settings for subtitle sizing

All the subtitle size settings in all clients are only effective if the subtitle is in a text-based format (SRT).
They won’t have an effect if the subtitles are in a picture-based format (PGS, VOBSUB).
So make sure to fetch subtitles in SRT format for all your movies.
Or you might have to convert them yourself from image to text (e.g. using Subtitle Edit )
Install PMP additionally and use that.
Switch it into its ‘tv’ mode.
Set its subtitle size to ‘huge’.
Then add a custom configuration file to improve subtitle legibility further:

Thank you for the info. I really appreciate that all my movies in MKV and MP4 format with integrated subtitles and audio language options works like a charm with Plex
