I don’t have control over subtitle size in server or client,
all works fine in web player

Have you already checked Settings > Advanced > Subtitles > Subtitle Size in the Android app? This should be considered when displaying text-based subtitles – I think this should also be respected if Plex will burn text-based subtitles into the video as part of a transcode.
I did, burn subtitles on server and in app is set to only image formats
sub size is set to huge

Does your media contain text-based subtitles or are they image-based (e.g. VOBSUB, PGS)?
Override included subtitle styling is on
I think subs are text based inside mkv container

This should only apply if you’re using highly formatted subtitles like ASS/SSA formats.
Can you verify?
Info should be available via Get Info from the movie’s context menu in Plex Web.
