Last position, continue watching not working

hey there,
plex doesn’t save the position where i quit watching any longer.
at homescreen it’s always the same season and episode which then starts from the beginning.

I’ve been seeing the same issue. I’m running the latest PMS, and I just restarted my Roku to get the latest Plex app on there, but it was happening before the app updated. Very frustrating.

It’s recently started with me a few weeks back… Same issue. Continue Watching goes back to the start. From the PC it’s ok from the Samsung TV it’s not. A recent update has affected the TV as the TV App hasn’t had an update for ages now.

Bump…I’m having the exact same issue. The Samsung app will show that I stopped at say 14:00 minutes but when I click play, it just starts from the beginning and never gives me the option to resume. The twist is that there are a few movies I started over a month ago and if I click play on those, I do get the option to resume!

Read some other threads about downgrading PMS. I did this on my Synology and it worked great. It’s definitely an issue with the last few PMS interacting with Samsung TVs. The latest version that’s working for me is PlexMediaServer-1.15.2.793-782228f99-x86_64.

Got the same issue… Hope plex can fix this. Rather annoying
