Latest iOS app no longer works on VPN

So the new app looks nice, but now no longer works when using a VPN to access plex media server over mobile networks with WiFi disabled.

When remotely connected using 5G and WireGuard VPN the client displays “Offline Mode” with a wifi symbol crossed out. This used to work in the previous version.
