Latest iOS/iPadOS App doesn't close properly

Server Version#: 1.41.5.9522
Player Version#: Latest WTF Plex release
On top of what have been said regarding the removal of features and sub-optimal navigation, I’ve just found a bug on my iPad M1.
When closing Plex while a TV show/Movie is being played from my local server, instead of simply pausing the stream and shutting down the iPad like previously, Plex has the sound stuttering for a few seconds and then resume the Audio of what was previously played.
On an iPad I’ve just switched off.
The ONLY way to stop the sound from playing is by touching the screen, being presented with the media commands, and click on Pause.
This never was how Plex worked previously and is a bit tedious.

When I switch it back up, it NEVER comes up smoothly and I am presented with either of the 2 following bugs which are reproductible:

  • The episode/movie starts back with a black screen while only the Audio is being played flawlessly, where you have to click on the Back 10 seconds to sort things out
  • The last frame of the video you were watching is displayed with no Audio and no UI at all, meaning you HAVE TO force quit the App.

The first one happens most of the times while the second case is rarer, but I’ve seen it way too much already for something which was supposedly tested prior to hitting the App Store.
Among all the features we somehow lost in this update, being able to stop whatever you’ve been doing instantly on an iPad has long been a standard behavior for all Apps.
