Logs provided. PMS issue on the latest PMS (1.41.7.9823) and the Beta PMS (1.41.8.9834) where Live TV will stop playing after a certain period of time. This time differs each time the crash happens. Looking at the logs this appears each time the crash happens:
ERROR - Unable to open named mutex 9334581e-7251-4ef7-a8ec-5bfe8e89ff68 with option 1: Function not implemented
I can’t have Live TV stop working so will be downgrading PMS to version 1.41.6.9685 which doesn’t have this issue but logs can be provided of each time this crash happened if need be.
@gunnersboy did you ever try downgrading to 1.41.6.9685? Cause that’s the version I’m on and it’s still happening for me. What’s weird is that I haven’t updated in a long while but I feel like this live tv issue started recently.
Yes, downgraded to 1.41.6 and I no longer have the issue. Have disabled automatic updates and after manually upgrading to the latest release and then the beta the issue appeared again. So I’ve downgraded and will remain until a fix comes and out.
I don’t watch OTA on my Shield. All devices that stream OTA are on the latest version and the issue only happens when I make changes to the Shield. It’s definitely a PMS issue rather than client based as it also happens when recording TV without even watching the channel.
