Hello, hope someone can help. It doesn’t seem what version I update PMS to on my ASUSTOR NAS, beta or official, get the same result. While something else has played previously from my PlexAmp app on Android (fully updated), when I search for and play another album or song, playback will not begin. When this happens, the following is occurring:
– Web GUI freezes and is not responsive; have stopped & restarted PMS on the NAS’s interface, no change; NAS is always pingable; can’t access web GUI from mobile or full PC browser, while within the network
– Requires a full reboot of the NAS to reset PMS and put everything back to normal again. On any given version of PMS, it can work for up to a week or a bit more, or last as little as a day or so before a full NAS reboot is required.
– While the PlexAmp GUI indicates that I can select and it is downloading songs in an album (VERY slowly), no media is ever downloaded
– DirectPlay and DirectStream are both enabled
– Failure and crashing of PMS can occur whether I am on my internal network, or external to it
– Remove and reinstall has not changed anything
– No advanced visualizations or anything crazy is enabled
– Support for IPv6 IS currently enabled
– Secure connections are preferred
I just figured out how to enable debug logging, so I can post those after the next crash. Please let me know if anything I have mentioned, or something outside of that, could be the issue. Thank you for your help.
